P&C drink and review an Heirloom Lager from Union Brewing, then discuss predictions for 2021. They start off by reviewing 20 multiple choice question / predictions from Andrew Napolitano, then go through a few of their own, covering COVID, Biden, Trump, politics in general, society and culture, and even a little sports.

Setting aside my standard warning that I’m not an expert in foreign constitutional law, I’m more optimistic than you two are that the Supreme Court will roll back qualified immunity protections. Pigweed mentioned that you’ve always been able to sue for police abuse, but because of QI it’s not always been easy to get those cases past the hurdle.
You basically have to have someone be abused in exactly the way someone has been abused before and also have the qualified immunity defence raised previously and set aside, preferably more than once. Otherwise it’s possible to argue that it wasn’t clearly established in law that you can’t beat someone with a _shoe_, only that you can’t beat them with a baton, etc.
Interesting. I wasn’t aware of that.
So, my prediction is that after the inauguration, there will be a big uptick in COVID deaths. It’s because it takes COVID a while to incubate and then it takes a while for people to dies. After Christmas gatherings, the COVID deaths will start to hit after the inauguration. And, I predict Trump will start tweeting about how horrible job Biden is doing with COVID for things that happened under Trump. But whatever. What else would you expect from orange bozo?
Probably, by the inauguration, there will be 375k COVID deaths…if not more closer to 400k. It’s sad that there was a COVID minimizing congressman-elect who never got sworn in…he was 41 years old. In Tulsa, an official for the Tulsa Health Department died because of COVID.
It’s going to be a lot worse before it gets better. I do think that things will be back to near normal by the time school starts up in the fall. I sure hope so. I have hope the vaccinations and summer will help to squash COVID so that we can get a handle on it.

I agree with you that Trump will blame Biden if deaths go up.
