Some other guy wrote that “Amen and Awomen” is some kind of black pastor thing. Of course, I’ve never heard it being white and raised catholic. I didn’t bother to see whether he was joking, serious, or trying to pull one over.
Just when you think you’ve seen it all…1st grade school curricula now includes instruction on masturbation…what??? If this is “woke”, it’s better to be asleep! Just another thing that makes me grateful my kids are beyond school age!
It’s interesting how people choose to divide up moral / social topics. These are the categories that spring to mind. I’m sure there are others.
+ “We will secretly teach this to your children whether you like it or not.” Ex., sexual issues, or in some cases religious issues.
+ “We will openly teach this to your children in the hopes they can browbeat you into compliance.” Ex., smoking, global warming.
+ “We have to have a conversation,” which really means “we have to lecture you backwards blockheads.”
+ “It’s a matter of moral indifference.” Ex. …. vanishingly small category.
It’s bad enough that it’s included in the curricula, but to do it without notifying parents is nearly criminal. I shudder to think what I might have done if this occurred with my kids. It likely would have been recorded in the annals of school history.
