According to Bob Woodward (who I don&#8217;t trust), Gen. Milley tried to undermine civilian control of the military, and had very questionable backchannel conversations with the Chinese. <\/p>\n<p>Sen. Marco Rubio has written <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rubio.senate.gov\/public\/_cache\/files\/d0df18f1-6b85-4a50-ab98-b271da6d2d3f\/A94C8A1265D701CCCB6D9D3B6DF2E5FD.09.14.21-senator-rubio-to-biden-re-milley-.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a letter to President Biden<\/a> saying Milley must be fired immediately. <\/p>\n<p>Slow down, Senator. <\/p>\n<p>Perhaps he should be put on leave immediately, but there needs to be an investigation.
