Then I remembered that restaurants are already required to check ID before they sell alcohol, so &#8230; I guess it&#8217;s generally within their bailiwick. <\/p>\n<p>However, (1) I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s good practice in general to force businesses to have to do too many things like this, and (2) as the restaurant owners ask, why just them? Why not Home Depot, CVS, etc.?
