Some pro-life demonstrators were outside an abortion clinic. A man pulled a handgun on them.

The Associated Press originally reported this as “Delaware police arrest man with gun at Planned Parenthood.”

They have since corrected the headline to “Delaware man charged with pulling gun on abortion opponents.”

The boys recently listened to a Michael Shermer interview of Michael Shellenberger re: his book, Apocalypse Never.

Shellenberger is an environmentalist, but of a different stripe. He’s not a catastrophist.

He also raises the legit question, has environmentalism taken the place of God in modern culture?

Religion and environmentalism hold this in common: As a result of man’s actions there’s judgment coming to us all and we need salvation. But is that from Jesus, or from recycling?

This is a good story.

Remember the Westboro Baptist Church? It was (is, I suppose) a tiny church in Florida that got out-sized headlines for going around saying awful things. They’d protest military funerals, and do other things that completely defy normal standards of decency.

Remember how the media treated them? They were almost universally condemned.

Why aren’t the radical elements of the riots getting the same treatment?

When they say cops should be fried like bacon, or that it would be better if their umbilical cord strangled them, or any of the other horrible things these anarchist protesters are saying … why aren’t they met with the same condemnation?

You know why.

Acting — only people of the same race / sexual orientation can play a character.
Literature — emphasizing diversity over talent.
Late night TV — used to be apolitical and funny, not it’s relentlessly political and not funny.
Religion — it’s all left-wing social rules, not anything transcendent or meaningful.
Sports — it’s increasingly political.
Free speech — the youth believe in free speech, but not “hate speech.”
The rainbow — now it’s political.
Race — we are one of the least racist, most multi-ethnic societies in history, but the left continues to be obsessed with race and racism in America.
Adoption — inter-racial adoption is frowned upon.
Male and female — they want to impose gender confusion.
America — blame America first.
Thanksgiving — it’s an opportunity to educate your un-woke family.
