This is amazing to me, but it seems many people don’t have the basic awareness to try this very simple check on themselves. Reverse the race / sex of a statement and see if it seems right to you.
For example, I just read this on LinkedIn.
“Big day! Participated in my first in person meeting in MONTHS! Leave it to a bunch of women leaders to pull it off!”
Say “leave it to a bunch of male leaders” and see if that doesn’t set off alarm bells. But why not the other way?

The woman is a faker. There are all kinds of reasons why people wouldn’t stand in response to a question like — the most likely being “if I stand then I will be seen as rejecting the ‘blacks are persecuted’ narrative and I will be decried as a racist.”
And what does the question even mean? Does it mean would I want to be born in exactly the same conditions I was born in — with a father and a mother, in an intact, middle-class family, in a peaceful middle-class neighborhood, but with black skin? Or does it mean would I want to be born into an average black family? Or … what?
