Here’s my latest, in which I try to organize Dr. Peterson’s thoughts into a coherent argument. It’s systematic, but not comprehensive. The goal is not to cover everything, but to put JBP’s religious thoughts into an understandable framework.

Maybe I’m just out of touch, but who exactly is Jordan Peterson and why should I be interested in his opinion on any subject?
Jordan Peterson is a Canadian psychologist who burst onto the scene when he refused to allow the Canadian government to compel him to use the preferred pronouns of students. He had an interview with an English female newscaster that went viral, and his series of lectures on Genesis were very popular. He’s since done one on Exodus and the Gospels.
His struggles with God have been a major part of his message, and a lot of young men have gone back to religion as a consequence of listening to Peterson.
His views are not orthodox. The “God” in Jordan Peterson’s mind isn’t the God of the Bible or of any religion I know of. It’s close to deism, I suppose, but it’s more psychological.
Following in the footsteps of Jung, Peterson wants to reconcile and harmonize science and religion, and a lot of his work is along those lines.
I hope that helps.
