“Festive season”?

I saw a lot of that this year. Is this the new way to avoid saying Christmas?

I don’t get this. It simply is the Christmas season. That’s true whether you celebrate Christmas or not, and admitting that it’s the Christmas season does not make you a Christian, any more than saying “Thursday” says you worship Thor.
