Hope Mr. Bennet is ok. Maybe it’s too tiring / frustrating making plans with Covid going nuts.
I watched a BB King bio pic on Hulu or Netflix because I am a fan. From the pic, they say he had some kind of Alzheimers/dementia for many years…but not while performing. I guess the same is true for Glen Campbell. He was touring up until his late 80s. At his last show, he was unable to play…the ability just left him and then he never played again. He died less than a year later.
That’s interesting. I’ve read that people with dementia can still appreciate (and presumably perform) music. In my mother’s last days, when she could barely speak, I played some of her favorite songs, and she could hum along and repeat the lyrics. I’ve heard of similar experiences in homes for the elderly, where people who are barely functional perk up when they hear music from their youth.
Apparently I’m on a roll. Another review just popped up.
