What does Malthus have to do with it?
According to Malthus, population growth can get out of control and needs to be held in check by factors such as disease and war. Darwin was partly inspired by Malthus. Then you get your crude social Darwinists who make “survival of the fittest” some sort of ideological principle.
I guess he wants to go back to the days of polio and smallpox…and stepping on a nail killing you. I guess if a Democrat is for it, a some Republicans have to be against it.
Remember it wasn’t so long ago that Republican TX Lt. Governor Dan Patrick said, “there are more important things than living…”. These are the “pro-life” people?
