If anyone remotely competent was VP, they’d have shuffled Biden off stage right and installed the replacement, who would have a far better chance of winning in the 2024 election.
Affirmative action has come back to bite the Democrats, and it’s very funny.
Let’s just throw out hypotheticals for which there is not one shred of evidence to keep us from talking about that dumpster fire that rages among the sycophants of Trump in the GOP.
Well, you can clearly see why some conservatives want Biden out of the way and to change the subject. They predicted he wouldn’t win the Democratic nomination. Yet, he not only did that but beat their champion (Trump) to become president. Since becoming president, very little of their disastrous predictions have come to fruition and he’s even had some historic achievements (in spite of being old and unpopular).
Given the GOP’s unwavering support for a thrice criminally indicted candidate, it’s very like there will be rematch between Trump and Biden in 2024. So, it makes sense that they wouldn’t want Biden around to repeat that potential embarrassment…especially knowing “they” overwhelmingly picked a guy that even they thought was a loser.

What purpose would there be to replace Biden with Harris? Ironically, Biden is highly unpopular but had some historic achievements during his tenure. Even political opponents have noted such (see below). So, despite not being fully satisfied with Biden, the Dems are likely saying…if it aint broke, don’t fix it.

Newt Gingrich“…but they have a machine, and the machine worked. And so I would say that when you look at results, you may dislike them philosophically, but you have to be realistic that these people have been effective. And you have to assume that they’re going to go into 2024 with a pretty powerful machine, running a juggernaut.”

How so? What does Affirmative action have to do with this topic?
That said, it’s ironic that the current leading Republican nominee is one that some Republicans and conservative commentators feel cannot beat ole sleepy Joe. At this point in the game, it seems clear that any Republican will be able to beat Biden in 2024 — except Trump. If the RNC, et. al. were remotely competent, they’d likely have a different horse than Trump leading in this race. But alas, he’s the Republican people’s choice. All their unconditional support, effusive praise, consistent denial and lies have come back to bite the Republicans, and it’s not very funny (given Trump’s toxicity).
QUOTE: I am so glad Harris is VP.
It will be interesting to see if this sentiment is expressed in 2024 if we have election issues like 2020…Biden loses, declares the results fraudulent and directs VP Harris to not certify the election.
It seems some House Republicans and conservative political pundits postulated that a VP could exercise such power legitimately. I wonder if they would be happy that Harris is VP and possessed that same authority? Could their previous view come back to bite them?
