Listening to a live stream about the alleged coup in Russia

This is amazing. It sounds (at posting time) that Wagner’s forces are closing in on Moscow, and some may be there already. Reports are that elements of Russia’s military forces are joining the coup.

Others are saying it’s all theater, and Moscow can easily turn away Wagner’s forces.

Scary stuff.

  1. There’s a journalist Tim Mak who is in Ukraine covering the Russian aggression and war against Ukraine. Usually, everyday he starts with “Kiev remains in Ukraine’s hands.” Today he started with, “Good morning to readers; Moscow remains in Putin’s hands.”

    1. And maybe not for long!

My fear here is that (from what Russian experts tell me) Russia does not take well to being invaded, and has a very deep-seated anxiety about it. It seems the odds they might use battlefied nukes have increased.

But I’m just an observer and have no expertise on the subject.

      1. They’re not really being invaded though… one Russian army vs another Russian army (private).

Heard also someone say that now Russia has the third best army in Ukraine.

I’m concerned about whose hands Russia’s nukes could end up in.
