   1. It’s hard for me to decide if that was trite or insightful. He agrees with a lot of what Peterson says. His objection is that Peterson doesn’t press the Gospel. Getting people saved and all that.

      Anyone who knows the first thing about Peterson knows that he’s not promoting faith in that way.

      The video boils down to “Peterson’s perspective is sociological.” Okay. We knew that.

      1. I think it comes down to understanding Ruslan’s audience. He was likely informing them (who may not be familiar with Peterson) that Peterson’s focus was good but not theological and then adding that perspective (and challenging some).
