First, how is a normal guy suppose to react to this story? It would be nice if the media could be relied upon to tell the truth… but, they’ve proved (throughout the Covid pandemic) that they’re untrustworthy.
That said, what does this story tell us? I seem to remember when salacious stories about our previous president’s children were published it was considered a political distraction despite some being quiet damning. Is there a purpose other than bragging rights and distraction for this being a story? Is there something of national importance? If so, then the proper authorities need to get involved and investigate. As well, the media should keep us informed of any significant findings.
It is of national importance that our media is corrupt and acts like an arm of the Democratic Party. Or, in the case of Fox News, and one or two others, like an arm of the Republican Party. Sensible people have known that for years, but I’m afraid too many still believe in objective journalism.
Not surprising. Seems parts of the media have gone the way of the government, political parties, law enforcement, corporate America and other major organizations. But, like journalism, too many still believe these other institutions are ethical.
