I enjoy Led Zeppelin from time to time, and I like swing, so this appealed to me.

A public record of some of my thoughts. Feel free to comment, but don't expect me to respond.

I have a fondness for Japanese rap and ska (!) so I can’t throw stones. There have also been some big band-style remakes of some famous video game songs which are pretty good, too.
I can’t speak for the quality of what’s on the charts (or even if they still exist), but I can say it’s never been easier to find interesting music in weird genre-crossing styles.
Big band covers of video game music sounds very interesting. Some video game music is actually quite good.
I like it. Led Zeppelin III was one of my favorite albums when it first came out.
I recently found these interesting covers of a song from the catalogue of the notorious FZ.

I’m not familiar with that song, but I looked it up, and those are some interesting covers.
The only Zappa album I ever had was ship arriving too late to save a drowning witch.
You might actually like the album on which that particular song is recorded. It is almost entirely instrumental, somewhat jazzy and big-bandish.
