He’s talking negatively about spending. Must be a Democrat about ready to take office.
Returning to the old hypocrisies. So refreshing!
Is this the guy who approved a tax cut for the uber rich that resulted in adding $1 trillion to the debt?
(My sources say, yes, same guy.)
All this is drama. Even AOC was saying they didn’t have enough time to read the bill. Whole bunch of stupid stuff in it…like aid to foreign countries. Now orange bozo saying it’s a disgrace because the aid/stimulus is not enough. Will the checks have his signature this time?
They’re all hypocrites. So is most of the press.
Stay safe from COVID everyone.
I’ve received my COVID vaccine. Open the economy you p*ssies.
I recall that Sen. Paul actually had COVID a few weeks ago, so I’m not sure he even needs the vaccine.
We’re running into that old problem of putting a monetary value on lives. On the one hand we can save lives, but at the cost of destroying small businesses (and consolidating the power of big companies), losing lots of jobs, wrecking the economy and putting the country further into debt. On the other hand we can open the economy, but more people will die.
It’s a horrible choice, but generally speaking we haven’t been honest enough to address it openly.
Economic ruin costs lives as well, as do things like making routine medical care less accessible. That complicates the analysis even further.
Yes, it’s not nearly as simplistic as people like to make it.
Does public policy have to be simplistic? What if our leaders were honest and told us, “we really don’t know these things for certain. We’re making our best guesses based on the best advice we have, but we might be wrong”?
Was that when he was knowingly exposed to COVID, had to take a test, and while waiting for results decided to use the congressional gym or pool anyways? What a fine human being.
He had it back in March? He might not be immune any longer and probably will get a shot if he hasn’t already.
To me he always comes across as a sociopathic nut job.
I was disappointed he didn’t talk about why speed limits are higher or lower in some states.
