Those of you who live in the real world …

… where people live real lives, produce real products, live in real cities, etc., probably won’t know about this story, but Washington is all atwitter with the allegation that someone in the Bush White House leaked info to Robert Novak and thereby outed a CIA spy as retribution against her husband, a critic of the administration. It’s a classic Washington story — created by the media, whipped into a frenzy by the media, and therefore a significant story by virtue of being whipped.

I hope that my gentle readers are far enough away from the influence of this nutty town not to care, but if not, you may want to read Robert Novak’s response.
