Well, it’s not quite that hysterical, but close.

Warming turns polar bears into cannibals.

Yeah, right. How much do we actually know about polar bear behavior? Is it really all that remarkable that a bear might eat another bear? The story says they’ve been studying polar bear behavior for 34 years, and this is the first time (eerie music) they’ve seen cannibalism.

Gee, that’s remarkable. I’ve been working in downtown Washington for 20 years and today was the first day I’ve seen a sidewalk vendor who’d run out of bananas. There must be a banana shortage. Maybe it’s from global warming! The waves are lapping against the roots of the banana trees. The water is rising. Save us!

These warming stories are getting incredibly tiresome.
