Airport security

by Greg Krehbiel on 10 February 2012

I’ve been away on business travel for a few days, and I got my first experience with that full-body x-ray scanner thing. Most of the airports I’ve been in don’t use it, but they do in Dallas-Ft. Worth.

I had removed all the metal from my pockets, but they wanted you to remove everything. Dollar bills, handkerchiefs, plastic combs, etc.

It was no big deal — unless the radiation kills me, I guess.

Turns out a flight from DC to LA exposes you to X-rays also.
I wonder what the levels are coming from those machines…
